Colac Strawberry Sundae Topping brings chunks of real strawberry in a rich sauce to sundaes, pancakes, waffles and pastries.

It is made in Belgium, it comes ready to use in a 1.15kg glass jar, and it can be served hot or cold, straight from the jar.

What Makes Strawberry Sundae Topping So Fruity? 

Strawberries are half of the recipe, at 50%, ahead of sugar, glucose-fructose syrup and water. Modified corn starch and guar gum give the sauce its body, a natural flavour backs up the fruit, and carmine (E120) deepens the red. Not suitable for vegetarians and vegans. 

How to Use Strawberry Sundae Topping

Spoon it over ice cream, gelato or sorbet in a tall glass and you have a sundae. Warm it for pancakes and waffles with whipped cream, or serve it cold as a filling inside pastries. In our Strawberry and White Chocolate Mousse it goes into the bottom of each glass before the mousse is piped on top. An unopened jar keeps for 24 months if stored away from light and damp, at no more than 25°C; once a jar is open, put it in the fridge and use it within three weeks.
