The history of the GCB Cocoa Group traces back to the early 1980s, originating with the trading of cocoa beans. Today, GCB is one of the leading cocoa processors in Asia. They're excited to bring this wealth of experience into the UK’s chocolate and cocoa industry. The UK factory, based in Suffolk, is now manufacturing GCB’s latest offering, Favorich Chocolate. Originating in 1995, the ‘Favorich’ brand was initially known for quality cocoa powder. Nowadays, the UK facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment, enabling them to utilise traditional manufacturing techniques and offer an array of chocolate couvertures and bake stable chips and chunks.
The Keylink Favorich range includes both milk and dairy-free dark chocolates, available as fine quality couvertures as well as bake stable chocolate chips and chunks. Our couvertures include a silky-smooth 32% milk chocolate and an indulgent 53% dark chocolate, both of which come in easy-to-melt buttons and are ideal for moulding and coating. Our Favorich bake stable chocolate products are available in a 30% milk chocolate or a 44% dark chocolate, and both come in chip and chunk form!
Favorich's fully-segregated dairy-free production line means their dark chocolate products are suitable for vegans.
GCB's four pillars of sustainability aim to address the social, economic and environmental challenges in their supply chain.
GCB's sustainability strategy, Good Cocoa & Beyond, named to mirror their company name, places sustainability at the core of what we do. They are committed to making a conscious and concerted effort to embrace cocoa sustainability, partnering with stakeholders in the whole cocoa supply chain to secure the future supply of cocoa and ensure a thriving sustainable cocoa sector.
Favorich products are Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, RSPO, BRCGS, Kosher and Halal.
