Curling Ribbons

Curling ribbon is a thin ribbon that spirals into ringlets when you draw a blade along it. It is a staple for gift packaging and hampers, and a simple way to finish a box or bag of chocolates, in plain colours such as Lilac and Cherry Red and metallics such as Metallic Gold.

How Do I Curl Ribbon?

Cut the length you need to tie around the neck of a bag or a box, leaving extra to curl, and knot it securely. Open a pair of scissors and place one blade next to the knot, with the ribbon over it. Hold the ribbon on the blade with your thumb at a 45 degree angle, then pull the blade towards the end of the ribbon. Trim any curl that is too long.

Which Colours Are Available?

Choose Old Gold, Lilac, Cherry Red, Violet or Fluorescent Rose for a plain finish, or Metallic Gold, Red, Lemon, Azalea, Rose and Violet for extra shine on festive gifts.
