Chocolate Curls & Blossoms

Chocolate curls, also called chocolate blossoms, are tightly curled rolls of chocolate for decorating cakes, cupcakes, pastries, truffles and desserts. Press them around a buttercream-covered cake, coat truffles and brigadeiros with them, or scatter a few over ice cream or a hot chocolate for an indulgent, traditional finish.

Which Colours and Flavours Are Available?

Dark, milk and white chocolate curls, a marbled white and dark mix, multi coloured marbled curls, strawberry chocolate curls and caramel blossoms. The Callebaut curls measure 7.5 - 10.5mm, its caramel blossoms are approximately 5mm x 9mm, and Callebaut also lists White Chocolate Blossoms.

Callebaut and Cargill. The Cargill dark, milk and white curls carry minimum cocoa solids of 54.45%, 35.5% and 29.17%, and the Cargill multi coloured marbled curls average approximately 41.81%. Pick the colour to contrast with the surface underneath, so dark curls stand out on a pale buttercream and white ones on a chocolate ganache.
