Product Information

Turmeric is the spice that turns a cream golden, and our Turmeric Spice Drops add both its colour and its flavour, a drop at a time. Three drops equal half a teaspoon of ground turmeric, so there is no powder to measure and no yellow dust on the worktop.

Turmeric extract is a quarter of the blend, and a plant-derived base forms the remainder. The liquid itself is a dark yellow, and that base lets the colour spread into a batter, a sauce or a ganache.

From Golden Ganache to Warming Sponge

Wherever a recipe calls for half a teaspoon of ground turmeric, use three drops, added towards the end of cooking. A drop or two also turns a buttercream or a white chocolate ganache a sunny yellow. For a warmer note, add a drop of our Ginger Spice Drops too. Shake before each use, and store the bottle closed, cool and out of direct sunlight.

Desserts to Try

Turmeric goes well with lemon, ginger, orange, black pepper, coconut and cardamom.
