Cherry Amaretto Gelato
Ingredients
- 3kg Whole Milk
- 360g Colac Cherry Flavour Paste (SGF1802)
- 80ml Amaretto (SCL166)
- 1kg Colac Neutral White Base (SGC1006P)
Method
Cherry and almond is another classic combination that will keep your customers coming back for more. With all the sweet, comforting flavours of a Bakewell Tart, plus the added kick of Amaretto, this cherry amaretto gelato is a real crowd pleaser!
How to Make Cherry Amaretto Gelato:
- Heat the milk (70-85°C)
- Add the Colac neutral gelato base and blend for 2+ minutes
- Allow to cool, add the cherry flavour paste and Amaretto and blend again
- Then churn, decorate and store as you would normally
Enjoyed this recipe? Make it alcohol free by swapping the Amaretto for 300g of pure almond nut paste.
